murane-r-140-12-light-smoky-grey-glass-chandelier-champagne
Murané R Smoke Grey Glass Chandelier 140cm Without Canopy

Description

The Murané R is a large ring chandelier: a slim band in a Brushed Champagne finish, 140cm across, set with glass spheres in Smoke Grey, each 10cm across with a rippled, textured surface. The light is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 32W and gives 1765 lumens of warm 2700K light, and with a colour rendering index of 90 it keeps wood, fabric and skin tones looking natural. It is a fitting that holds a room on its own, so give it space to breathe.

At 140cm across, this is a chandelier for a large room: hang it over a long dining table, where it gives the table a warm centre of light, or in a generous living room with the ceiling height to let it hang well clear of heads. The 2700K light is warm and relaxed, right for long dinners and quiet evenings alike. It is rated IP20, so it belongs in dry rooms only. The Smoke Grey glass and Brushed Champagne finish sit happily with warm woods, stone and soft neutrals.

The chandelier comes without its canopy, and there is no version made with one, so you will need a Murané R canopy, sold separately: it is the ceiling fitting the ring hangs from. Power comes from the mains, wired in by an electrician, through a remote 24V DC driver, also sold separately, which turns mains power into the 24V DC the integrated LED runs on. It is a Class III fitting. The finish is Brushed Champagne, a soft, warm metallic, and the spheres are Smoke Grey glass, so the ring looks considered even when it is switched off. Our practical advice: plan the canopy, the driver and the electrician together, so everything is ready at once. The suspension ropes in our photographs are not included.

Specification

Finish

Brushed Champagne

Glass

Smoke Grey

Diameter

140cm

Sphere Diameter

10cm

Light Source

Integrated LED

LED Power

32W

Luminous Flux

1765lm

Colour Temperature

2700K

CRI

90

Power

Mains, wired in by an electrician, through a 24V DC driver (sold separately)

Voltage

24V DC

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class III

Lead time

Made to order, usually delivered in 4 to 8 weeks

Frequently Asked

Does the Murané R chandelier need a bulb?

No. The light is integrated LED, drawing 32W and giving 1765 lumens of warm 2700K light, so there is no bulb to buy or replace.

What else do I need to buy for this chandelier?

You need a Murané R canopy, sold separately, because the chandelier comes without one, and a remote 24V DC driver, which is not included.

How big is the Murané R chandelier?

The ring is 140cm across and each Smoke Grey glass sphere is 10cm across, so it suits a large dining room or living room.

Can I hang it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a dining room or a living room.

How is the chandelier powered?

It is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician, through a remote 24V DC driver that is sold separately.

How long will it take to arrive?

It is made to order for you, so it is usually delivered in 4 to 8 weeks.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0729/8993/3835/files/01_lead_c42ac966-db4d-4888-ad40-ea9ec5c767c0.jpg?v=1791286254
