murane-pink-glass-sphere-pendant-light-15cm-brushed-champagne
Murané Pink Glass Sphere Pendant Light 15cm - Brushed Champagne

Description

Murané is a pendant light built around a single sphere of pink glass, 15cm across, with a rippled surface that gives the glass a wave-like look. The glass hangs from a slim cable beneath a small cap in a Brushed Champagne finish, and the soft metal tone sits well against the warm colour of the glass. Inside is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 2.7W or 4W depending on the version, gives 167lm of light at 2700K, a warm white, and has a CRI of 90, so colours look natural beneath it.

We see this pendant over a dining table or in a living room, where a 15cm sphere gives a gentle glow without crowding the space. It hangs on a drop of up to 300cm. You can choose it with or without a canopy. The version with canopy arrives with its own round canopy, 5.5cm across and 13cm tall, to hang on its own. The version without canopy is for multi-pendant canopies, sold separately, so you can gather several spheres over one table. For the 24V DC version only, you will need a remote 24V DC driver, which is not included and is sold separately; it converts the mains supply to the low voltage that version runs on. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The pendant runs on 230V mains and must be wired in by a qualified electrician. The pink glass and Brushed Champagne cap make a warm pairing, soft rather than showy. The light is fixed at 2700K, a warm white that suits evenings at the table or on the sofa. Before you order, decide whether you want one sphere on its own canopy or several gathered on a shared canopy, as that choice settles which version you need.

Specification

Finish

Brushed Champagne

Glass

Pink

Diameter

15cm

Canopy Diameter

5.5cm

Canopy Height

13cm

Max Drop

300cm

Light Source

Integrated LED

LED Power

2.7W or 4W (by version)

Luminous Flux

167lm

Colour Temperature

2700K

CRI

90

Power

Mains, wired in by an electrician

Voltage

230V

IP Rating

IP20

Lead time

Made to order, usually delivered in 4 to 8 weeks

Frequently Asked

Does the Murané pendant need a bulb?

No. It has an integrated LED, drawing 2.7W or 4W depending on the version and giving 167lm at 2700K with a CRI of 90.

Can I hang this pendant in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a dining room or a living room.

How big is the glass sphere?

The pink glass sphere is 15cm across, and the pendant hangs on a drop of up to 300cm.
