mr-and-mrs-set-of-2-champagne-flutes-with-black-words-clear
Mr & Mrs Set of 2 Champagne Flutes with Black Words - Clear

Description

This pair of champagne flutes brings a personal touch to a celebratory drink, with one flute lettered mr and the other mrs in flowing black script. Both are clear, so the lettering stands out crisply on the upper bowl, and the words are printed in lower case for a soft, relaxed look. Each flute stands 25.2cm tall and 7.2cm across, with a tall, narrow bowl that rises from a slender stem and a round foot. The two come together as a set, so neither is ever without its partner.

The tall, narrow bowl is the traditional shape for champagne, prosecco and other sparkling wines, and the slender stem gives you somewhere to hold each flute so your hand stays away from the drink. We like them on a dinner table set for two, on a drinks tray brought out for a toast, or lined up on a sideboard ready for a special evening at home. Because the words do the talking, they suit any celebration where two people want to raise a glass together, and they make an easy pick when you are choosing a gift with a little meaning behind it.

Each flute stands on a wide, round foot, and the straight rim is plain and smooth. The black lettering sits on the upper part of the bowl, where it catches the eye from across the table, and the rest of the flute is left clear so the drink inside shows through. As general good practice, we suggest washing them gently by hand in warm soapy water and drying with a soft, lint-free cloth, which helps keep the lettering crisp. Wrap them in tissue with a bottle of something sparkling and you have a thoughtful gift that is ready to use straight away.

Specification

Colour

Clear

Height

25.2cm

Width

7.2cm

Depth

7.2cm

Weight

0.326kg

Frequently Asked

How tall are these champagne flutes?

Each flute stands 25.2cm tall and measures 7.2cm across, a tall, slim size that sits comfortably on a dinner table or drinks tray.

What words are printed on the flutes?

One flute reads mr and the other reads mrs, both in lower-case black script on the upper part of the bowl.

How many flutes come in the set?

The set is two flutes, one lettered mr and one lettered mrs, so you always have a matching pair to use side by side.

What drinks are these flutes best for?

The tall, narrow bowl is the traditional shape for champagne, prosecco and other sparkling wines, and it suits any bubbly drink served chilled.

How should I look after them?

As general good practice, wash them gently by hand in warm soapy water and dry them with a soft, lint-free cloth to keep the black lettering crisp.

Do they make a good gift?

Yes, the matching mr and mrs lettering gives them a personal feel, and they are lovely to give on their own or with a bottle of something sparkling.
