The rings widen towards the middle and narrow again towards the top and the base, so the whole form reads as a soft, rounded tower. It comes in two shades, White Translucent Ribbon or Cream Translucent Ribbon, and when it is lit the light glows gently through every fine pleat. The shade is 92cm tall and 120cm across, and it hangs on slim cables from a round canopy 14cm across.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt 120cm across, this is a pendant for a room with space around it and height above it. We like it over a long dining table, which it lights from above, or hung in the centre of a large living room, where it fills the ceiling without crowding the furniture. The White Translucent Ribbon shade sits crisply in a pale, modern scheme, while the Cream Translucent Ribbon shade brings a softer tone to warm woods and natural colours.
