miku-snowflake-christmas-tree-decorations-set-of-2-clear
Miku Snowflake Christmas Tree Decorations Set of 2 - Clear

Description

This is a pair of snowflake decorations for Christmas, two clear designs made to hang together. Each is built from fine iron wire that branches out into six arms, and every branch is threaded with small clear beads of PMMA, a light, glass-like plastic. One snowflake has a single faceted centrepiece; the other has a tight cluster of tiny sparkling beads at its heart. Each measures 17cm long and 17cm tall, a size that reads clearly on a tree without crowding it, and the weight given is just 0.02KG, so even a slim branch will carry them.

Hang them on the Christmas tree, from a bare branch in a tall vase, or in a window, where daylight passes through the beads and picks out every point. They sit just as well along a mantelpiece garland, mixed in with paper and wooden decorations, and because the two designs differ they make a natural pair either side of a window frame or a doorway. Their clear, airy look suits a pared-back Scandinavian Christmas, yet they hold their own on a fuller, more traditional tree too. They also make a thoughtful small gift for anyone who adds a new decoration to their tree each year.

The iron wire carries a plated finish, and the beads are threaded along each branch, with teardrop-shaped beads finishing the tips of the arms. A hanging loop is fixed at the top of each snowflake, ready to slip over a branch or a small hook, so there is no thread to find before they go up. For the clearest effect, hang them against a plain wall or a pane of glass, where the fine wire almost disappears and the clear beads seem to float in the air.

Specification

Length

17cm

Height

17cm

Sold as

Set of 2

Material

Iron, PMMA

Colour

Clear

Finish

Plating

Weight

0.02KG

Frequently Asked

What are these snowflake decorations made of?

They are made of iron and PMMA.
