meridian-plain-velvet-cushion-hot-pink-lime-55x55cm
Meridian Plain Velvet Cushion - Hot Pink/Lime

Description

This is a plain velvet cushion from the Meridian range, made from 100% polyester and finished in a confident hot pink with a contrasting lime green piped edge. It measures 55 x 55cm, which is larger than the standard 45cm cushion most sofas come dressed with, so it reads as a proper feature rather than a filler. The front and reverse are both plain, so whichever way it lands on the sofa it looks the same, and the piped trim runs around all four edges to hold the shape crisp.

A cushion this size earns its place at the back of a sofa or across the head of a bed, where its depth gives you something substantial to lean into. The hot pink and lime pairing is deliberate rather than quiet, so it works best where you want a lift of colour against a neutral sofa or a plain throw. Because the Meridian range shares this plain-front-with-contrast-piping construction across several colourways, you can mix two or three together without them fighting, letting the piping colours do the coordinating for you.

The cover is a soft velvet-feel polyester, which gives you the deep pile and light-catching sheen of velvet with the everyday durability polyester is known for. Polyester holds colour well and resists fading, so the hot pink should stay saturated with use. A zip closure runs along one edge so the cover comes off cleanly for cleaning. If you like the look, the wider Meridian range offers the same cushion in other complementary piping colours, so a set is easy to build.

Specification

Material

100% Polyester

Design

Plain front and reverse, contrasting piped border in lime green

Construction

Soft velvet-feel fabric, piped trim, zip closure

Size

55x55cm

Country of origin

Not stated

Frequently Asked

What is the cushion made from?

The cover is 100% polyester in a soft velvet-feel fabric, which gives you a deep pile and gentle sheen with the everyday durability polyester offers.

How big is this cushion?

It measures 55 x 55cm, which is larger than the common 45cm cushion, so it sits as a proper feature at the back of a sofa or bed.

Does the cover come off for cleaning?

Yes, there is a zip closure along one edge, so the cover slips off the pad cleanly whenever you need to freshen it up.

Is the same on both sides?

Yes, the front and reverse are both plain hot pink, so it looks the same whichever way it falls on the sofa.

Can I build a matching set?

Yes, the wider Meridian range offers the same cushion with different contrasting piping colours, so mixing two or three together coordinates easily.
