meridian-plain-velvet-cushion-charcoal-dove-55x55cm
Meridian Plain Velvet Cushion - Charcoal/Dove

Description

This is the Meridian cushion in charcoal grey, a large 55 x 55cm square with a soft velvet-feel face and a contrasting piped edge in dove silver. The photograph shows a plain, uniform grey cover with no pattern, the piping running crisply around all four sides to define the shape. It is a generous cushion: at 55cm across it sits comfortably as the larger anchor in a group rather than a small accent, and the plain face lets the piped border do the work of the design.

A plain velvet-feel cushion earns its place on almost any seat. Drop it into the corner of a sofa, stand it against the headboard of a bed, or set a pair at either end of a window seat. Because the front and reverse are both plain, you can turn it either way and it reads the same, which makes it forgiving to live with day to day. The charcoal grey is a neutral that works against warm woods and cooler paint alike, and the dove piping gives it just enough edge to stop it disappearing into a grey sofa. It pairs naturally with the other piped colourways in the Meridian range, so mixing and matching across a set is straightforward.

The cover is made of 100% polyester with a velvet feel, which means it holds colour well and stands up to daily handling without the fuss of a natural pile. A zip closure lets you remove the cover, and the piped trim is the finishing detail that frames each face. Polyester velvet-feel fabric tends to keep its look with minimal care, so it suits a busy living room or a bedroom that needs to earn its keep. Style it plain and simple against patterned throws, or build a layered stack alongside the blue and blush piped covers from the same range for a coordinated finish.

Specification

Material

100% Polyester

Design

Plain, velvet-feel face with contrasting dove piping

Construction

Piped trim, zip closure

Size

55x55cm

Frequently Asked

What is the cover made from?

The cover is 100% polyester with a soft velvet-feel finish, which holds its colour well and stands up to everyday handling in a busy room.

How big is this cushion?

It measures 55 x 55cm, which is a large square that works well as the bigger anchor cushion in a layered group on a sofa or bed.

Can I take the cover off?

Yes, it has a zip closure along one edge so you can remove the cover from the pad whenever you need to.

Is the reverse the same as the front?

Both the front and the reverse are plain, so you can turn the cushion either way and it looks the same on show.

Does it match the other Meridian cushions?

Yes, the Meridian range shares the same plain face and piped edge in a set of complementary colours, so they group together easily.

Meridian Plain Velvet Cushion - Charcoal/Dove
