mediterranean-sardines-reversible-polyester-cushion-pink-orange
Mediterranean Sardines Reversible Polyester Cushion - Pink/Orange

Description

This is an outdoor cushion measuring 45x45cm, printed on both sides so you get two designs in one cover. One face carries a hand-drawn trio of sardines in red line-work, framed by the words SARDINES and DE LA MER in blue over a pink-and-orange stripe. Flip it over and you have a pink-and-orange checkerboard scattered with tiny fish silhouettes. It is made from 100% polyester, chosen here for outdoor life rather than for softness alone.

It belongs on a garden bench, a patio chair or an outdoor sofa, and it earns its place at an alfresco lunch where a printed cotton cushion would not survive the first spilled drink. The bold pinks and oranges sit happily against green painted metal and planting, and the playful seaside subject makes it an easy partner for other food-and-sea prints if you are building a relaxed, holiday-feeling scheme. At 45cm square it is the standard cushion size, so it drops straight into most existing outdoor seating without looking under- or over-scaled.

The fabric is water-resistant and wipe-clean, which is the point of it: an unexpected shower will not ruin it and a damp cloth deals with most marks. A zip runs along one edge so the cover comes off the pad when you need it to. Because it is reversible, you can turn the whole scheme from stripes to checks in a moment when you want a change without buying anything new. If you like this one, the wider range runs to other Mediterranean food and market prints in the same spirit, so a matched set is easy to pull together.

Specification

Material

100% polyester

Design

Reversible: sardine print one side, fish checkerboard the other

Construction

Printed, water-resistant wipe-clean fabric with zip closure

Size

45x45cm

Frequently Asked

Can this cushion stay outside in the rain?

The fabric is water-resistant, so it copes with an unexpected shower, but we would still bring it under cover for prolonged wet weather to keep it at its best.

Is the cover really printed on both sides?

Yes.
