Each white PVC panel is a 50 x 50cm square, raised in rounded bars that run across and down on a regular grid. The bars meet in crosses, T-junctions and right-angled bends, closing off small squares, longer rectangles and larger L- and Z-shaped fields in an irregular, maze-like layout. They stand clear of a flat ground in a relief 15mm deep, enough to give every line a soft shadow. A run of panels behind a bed, along a living room wall or behind a reception desk makes a feature wall that holds its own without pictures or shelves.
