masmena-smart-colour-changing-round-led-outdoor-wall-light
Masmena Smart Colour Changing Round LED Outdoor Wall Light

Description

Masmena is a half-round LED outdoor wall light in matt black, with a flat back that rests against the wall and a smoothly curved front. It is 15cm long, 13cm high and stands 13cm out from the wall, so it sits neatly beside a front door without crowding a porch. The body is aluminium and plastic with a clear glass shade, and the light leaves both the top and the bottom of the fitting, washing the wall in two soft beams. Rated IP55, it is protected against dust and jets of water, so it lives outdoors on a house wall.

This is a light for entrances, porches, garden walls and the wall beside a terrace or a flight of steps, and a pair either side of a door or a row along a wall gives a steady rhythm of light. At 300lm it is a gentle output for marking a doorway or a path rather than flooding a whole garden. Because it is controlled through an app, you can dim it, shift the white light between warmer and cooler tones, or choose an RGB colour, so the same light can greet guests quietly on a weeknight and glow in party colours at the weekend. It also works with a remote control, which is sold separately.

There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall and the app then looks after brightness and colour, so the wall switch needs to stay on for the app to work. It is a wired-in mains light running on 220-240V, 50/60Hz, so a qualified electrician should install it, and the installation instructions come as a download. It weighs 0.61KG packed. The matt black finish stays quiet against a pale wall by day and lets the glow do the work after dark, a practical choice for a doorway you pass every evening.

Specification

Length

15cm

Height

13cm

Projection

13cm

Body Material

Aluminium, plastic

Body Colour

Black matt

Shade Material

Glass

Shade Colour

Clear

Lumens

300lm

Dimmable

Yes

Features

Controlled by app; also works with a remote control, sold separately; Adjustable colour temperature; Colour-changing (RGB)

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP55

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

0.61KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Masmena wall light go outdoors?

Yes.
