manvena-8-light-pendant-white-chrome
Manvena 8 Light Pendant - White & Chrome

Description

The Manvena is an eight light pendant built around a slim white column, with eight white steel arms crossing it at angles and a chrome lampholder at the end of each one. It is 71cm across and 110cm tall overall, so it fills the space over a dining table without crowding the room. The open, sputnik style frame leaves every bulb bare, and it takes up to eight E27 bulbs of up to 60W each. Its IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room, well away from steam and splashes.

We think it looks its best over a dining table, where eight points of light spread across a wide span and the crossed arms give the ceiling real interest whether the bulbs are lit or not. It suits a living room or an open plan space just as well, anywhere dry with the ceiling height to let a pendant of this size hang freely. The white frame sits quietly against pale ceilings and walls, while the chrome lampholders and joints add a crisp, bright accent that works in modern and mid century rooms alike. Choose warm white globe bulbs for a softer glow at dinner, or brighter ones where the table doubles as a desk.

The body is steel, a strong and rigid metal, finished in white with chrome lampholders and chrome collars at each joint. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall, so it works from your existing light switch. As a wired in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Bulbs are not included, so pick up eight E27 bulbs of 60W or less before it is fitted. The box weighs 2.332KG packed, easy enough for one person to carry.

Specification

Overall Height

110cm

Diameter

71cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

White, chrome

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 8 x 60W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

2.332KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can this pendant go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means indoors and dry only, so it belongs in a dining room or living room, away from steam and splashing water.

Which bulbs does the Manvena take?

It takes eight E27 bulbs of up to 60W each.
