mala-large-jute-christmas-tree-natural
Mala Large Jute Christmas Tree - Natural

Description

The large Mala stands 100cm tall and 37cm across: an iron frame wound from the foot of the trunk to the tip of every branch in natural jute. The branches are short and straight, set in tiers up a single upright trunk and finishing square rather than tapering to a point, and four legs splay from the base to hold it. Every turn of the winding shows, so each branch is ridged along its whole length.

At a metre tall this is a tree for a floor, a hearth or the end of a sideboard rather than for a table, and the bare branches are what it is for: a glass drop or a small bauble hung on a branch end hangs clear instead of settling into foliage. Stood beside the 56cm Mala, the two read as one shape at two heights. At 1.42kg it moves with one hand.

The frame is iron and the winding is jute, wound on by hand, so the thickness varies along a branch and between one tree and the next. Mala also runs at 56cm. Decorations are not included.

Specification

Height

100cm

Width

37cm

Depth

37cm

Material

Iron & Jute

Colour

Natural

Weight

1.42kg

Frequently Asked

How tall is it?

100cm, and 37cm across.

Will it stand on its own?

Yes.
