maien-speckled-stoneware-vases-14cm-set-of-7-multi
Maien Speckled Stoneware Vases 14cm Set of 7 - Multi

Description

This is a set of seven small stoneware vases, each finished in a speckled glaze, and together they make a multicoloured row that looks gathered over time rather than bought in one go. The shapes vary from piece to piece: some are tall bottles with long, slender necks, while others are short and rounded with a narrow mouth. The maker gives the size as 14cm tall and 7cm across, so think of them as bud vases for a single stem or a small sprig rather than vessels for a full bunch of flowers.

Their small scale suits the places where a larger vase would crowd things: a bookshelf, a mantelpiece, a windowsill, a side table or the corner of a desk. Line all seven along a shelf for a run of different heights and shapes, or split them up around the house, three on a dining table, two on a bedside table and two in the hallway. They work well with dried stems, grasses and seed heads, which stand upright in the narrow necks and need no tending. Anyone who prefers a few stems to a big bouquet will find plenty of use for them, and they make a thoughtful gift for a new home.

Each vase is made of 100% stoneware, a dense clay fired at high temperature, and the glaze gives every piece a glossy, speckled surface that catches the light. The seven together weigh 1KG. The styling props shown are not included. For styling, keep shorter stems in the squat vases and let the tall bottles carry the longer, airier pieces, so the height of each arrangement follows the shape of its vase.

Specification

Height

14cm

Diameter

7cm

Sold as

Set of 7

Material

100% Stoneware

Colour

Multi

Weight

1KG

Frequently Asked

What are the vases made of?

They are made of 100% stoneware, a dense fired clay, and every piece has a glossy, speckled glaze.

How big are the vases?

The maker gives the size as 14cm tall and 7cm across.
