maid-of-honour-glass-champagne-flute-with-black-words-clear
Maid of Honour Glass Champagne Flute with Black Words - Clear

Description

This clear glass champagne flute carries the words "maid of honour" in a flowing black handwritten script, printed across the bowl so they read clearly whenever the glass is raised. It has the classic tall, slender flute shape, set on a long, fine stem and a round foot, and the glass itself is left clear and plain so the lettering does the talking. It stands 25.2cm tall and 7cm across, a proper full-size flute rather than a novelty one.

We think it makes a lovely gift for the person who holds the title printed on it, a simple way of saying thank you for all the help, the calm words and the support along the way. Hand it over ahead of time so it is ready for the first toast, or set it at her place at the table so she knows straight away which glass is hers. Afterwards it moves easily to a shelf, a dresser or a glass-fronted cabinet at home, where the words keep a happy memory close. Being tall and slim, it takes up very little room and sits comfortably alongside the rest of the glassware.

The flute is made from glass with the script printed on, so a little care keeps the lettering crisp. As good practice for printed glassware, we would wash it gently by hand in warm, soapy water, keep scouring pads well away from the words and dry it straight away with a soft, lint-free cloth. When drying, support the bowl rather than twisting it against the stem. For gifting, wrap it in tissue and tuck it into a box with a handwritten note, or pair it with a bottle of her favourite bubbly so the toast is ready to go.

Specification

Material

Glass

Colour

Clear

Finish

Printed

Height

25.2cm

Width

7cm

Depth

7cm

Weight

0.162kg

Frequently Asked

How tall is the maid of honour champagne flute?

It stands 25.2cm tall and measures 7cm across.
