macrame-rainbow-and-cloud-mdf-photo-frame-6-x-4in-brown
Macrame Rainbow and Cloud MDF Photo Frame 6 x 4in - Brown

Description

This photo frame pairs a soft macrame rainbow with a little cloud plaque, ready to hold the first pictures of a new arrival. The frame is MDF with a brown wood-grain look and a distressed, vintage-style finish, marked with fine white lines and planked grooves. On the left, the rainbow is worked in arcs of coral, pink, soft yellow and blue-grey, finished with a cream fringe and hung from a small bead at the top. Beneath it sits a white cloud printed with the words Welcome to the World, with a tassel hanging from it. On the right, a white inner border surrounds an upright window that takes a 6 x 4in photograph.

We chose this one with a new baby in mind, and its printed welcome makes it a thoughtful gift for parents marking a little one's arrival. A newborn portrait or a snap of the first cuddle suits the window well. The gentle rainbow shades bring a soft splash of colour to a nursery, and because the look is cheerful rather than babyish, it carries on happily into a child's bedroom as the years go by, holding a favourite picture from each stage. It is a keepsake for the room rather than a plaything.

The frame measures 24.3cm along its longer side and 20.1cm along its shorter side, and it is 2.7cm deep, so it needs only a modest spot. The 6 x 4in window takes a standard print, so there is no trimming to do. For care, dust the frame with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from damp, and treat the macrame gently, easing the fringe back into place with your fingers if it gets flattened. As a gift, slip a favourite photograph in before you wrap it, so it is ready to enjoy the moment it is opened.

Specification

Material

MDF

Colour

Brown

Finish

Distressed / Vintage

Size

24.3 x 20.1cm

Depth

2.7cm

Weight

0.36kg

Photo Size

6 x 4in (15 x 10cm)

Photos

One

Occasion

New Baby

Frequently Asked

What size photo does this frame take?

It takes a 6 x 4in photograph, held upright in a portrait window with a white inner border, so a standard print fits without any trimming.

How big is the frame overall?

The frame measures 24.3cm along its longer side and 20.1cm along its shorter side, and it is 2.7cm deep.

What is the frame made of?

The frame is MDF with a brown wood-grain look and a distressed, vintage-style finish, decorated with a macrame rainbow and a white cloud plaque.

What does the cloud say?

The white cloud is printed with Welcome to the World, with Welcome in yellow script and the rest in soft coloured capital letters.

Is it a good new baby gift?

Yes, its printed welcome makes it a thoughtful new baby gift, and it suits a nursery first and a child's bedroom later on.

How should I look after it?

Dust the frame with a soft dry cloth, keep it away from damp, and ease the macrame fringe back into place gently with your fingers.
