lyria-20cm-globe-glass-light-shade-iridescent
Lyria 20cm Globe Glass Light Shade - Iridescent

Description

This is a replacement globe shade in iridescent glass for our Lyria pendants, 20cm across and 19.5cm tall. The glass carries a soft rainbow sheen of pale pink, lilac, blue and green, and its colours shift as you move around the room. A neat round opening at the top is where it meets the suspension set. What you receive is the glass shade alone. It needs the range's E14 or large LED pendant suspension set to become a light, and that set is sold separately, as is the bulb, so order the suspension set too if you are starting from scratch.

There are two good reasons to buy it. A shade may have broken and you want the pendant back as it was, or you already own the suspension set and fancy a change of look. Iridescent glass gives a plain room a gentle play of colour, while the shade still reads as a simple sphere, so it sits happily over a dining table, in a hallway or above a bed. At 20cm across it is a compact globe, a good choice where a larger shade would crowd the space, and a pair or a row of them works well along a kitchen island.

The shade is made of iridescent glass and weighs 0.25KG. Glass does not yellow with age, which matters on a shade you will look at every day. The maker rates it for use between 0°C and 40°C. The bulb is not included, so choose one that suits your suspension set. Before you order, check that your pendant uses the range's E14 or large LED suspension set: that is the set this globe is designed to fit, and the maker lists it as required, so the shade will not work on its own.

Specification

Diameter

200mm

Height

195mm

Material

Iridescent Glass

Fits

The range's E14 or large LED pendant suspension set (sold separately, required)

Finish

Iridescent

Operating Temperature

0°C to 40°C

Certification

CE

Weight

0.25KG

Warranty

5 Years

Frequently Asked

Does this glass shade come with a lamp holder or a bulb?

No. You receive the iridescent glass globe on its own.
