losessa-linear-pendant-light-black-wood
Losessa Linear Pendant Light - Black & Wood

Description

The Losessa is a four-light linear pendant: a long black ceiling bar with four slim black cylindrical shades hanging from it on fine black cords. Each shade is cut away at the front of its lower end in a tall arch, revealing a warm brown wood grain inside, so the light catches the wood as it falls. It is made from steel and wood in black and brown, and measures 92.5cm long, 6cm wide and 110cm high overall. Each shade takes a GU10 bulb rated at 4.5W and giving 345lm, so the four together cast a focused, downward light. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.

Where it really earns its place is over a dining table. The four shades hang in a straight row along the bar, so the light runs the length of the table rather than gathering in one spot, which suits a long table in a kitchen diner or a dining room. The black looks crisp against pale walls, while the wood inside each shade brings a warmth that sits well beside timber tables and chairs. Because the shades are so narrow, the fitting keeps the view across the table open, and people sitting opposite one another can still see each other clearly. It is a good choice for anyone who wants focused light for meals without a bulky shade.

There is no switch on the light: it works from your wall switch, and as a hard-wired mains fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz, and the installation instructions come as a download. Packed, it weighs 4.318KG. Before you order, measure from your ceiling to the table top and compare that with the 110cm overall height, so the shades hang at a height that works for your room.

Specification

Length

92.5cm

Width

6cm

Overall Height

110cm

Body Material

Steel, wood

Body Colour

Black, brown

Light Source

GU10 (bulb included)

Wattage

4 x 4.5W

Lumens

345lm per light (4 lights)

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

4.318KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can I use this pendant in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it away from bathrooms, outdoor spaces and anywhere damp.

What bulbs does the Losessa take?

Each of the four shades takes a GU10 bulb rated at 4.5W, giving 345lm per light for a focused, downward light over the table.

How big is the Losessa linear pendant?

It measures 92.5cm long, 6cm wide and 110cm high overall, so it suits a long dining table in a kitchen diner or dining room.

Does it have its own switch?

No, there is no switch on the fitting itself, so you turn it on and off from your existing wall switch.

What colour is the pendant?

The ceiling bar, the cords and the outside of each shade are black, while the inside of each cutaway shows a warm brown wood grain.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0729/8993/3835/files/losessa-linear-pendant-light-black-wood.jpg?v=1792440153
