losessa-floor-lamp-black-gold
Losessa Floor Lamp - Black & Gold

Description

The Losessa is a slim floor lamp in black and gold: a steel tube 137cm tall and only 6cm across, standing on a round base 18.5cm across. The outside is black, and a long angled opening down the tube reveals a gold inner surface, so the gold shows as a warm stripe whenever the lamp is lit. It takes a single GU10 bulb rated at 4.5W and 345 lumens, a gentle level of light that suits mood lighting more than close reading. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms only.

Its narrow build is the reason to choose it. With a column only 6cm across and a base of 18.5cm, it fits the corner beside an armchair, the end of a sofa or the gap between a bookcase and a window, where a lamp with a wide shade would crowd the room. The black sits comfortably with dark wood, exposed brick and industrial-style interiors, while the gold lining brings a little warmth to a living room, a bedroom or a hallway in the evening. For anyone layering their lighting, it adds height and a glow of colour without a bulky shade taking up space.

The body is steel, finished in black with the gold on the inside of the tube. A foot switch means you can light it with a press of your foot instead of stooping to find a button. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains power and carries an energy class of F. Packed, it weighs 3.384KG, which is handy to know when you are carrying the box up the stairs. The installation instructions come as a download, so you can read them through before you start and have the lamp standing where you want it.

Specification

Height

137cm

Diameter

6cm

Base Diameter

18.5cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Black, gold

Light Source

GU10 (bulb included)

Wattage

4.5W

Lumens

345lm

Switch

Foot switch

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Energy Class

F

Weight (packed)

3.384KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Losessa floor lamp go in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for dry indoor rooms only, such as a living room, bedroom or hallway, and should be kept away from water.

Which bulb does the lamp take?

It takes a single GU10 bulb.
