lori-3-light-e27-flush-ceiling-light-40cm-smoke-polished-chrome
Lori 3 Light Wine Flush Light 40cm Smoke - Polished Chrome

Description

Three smoke shades, each turned in a wine-glass shape, hang beneath a round polished chrome plate that sits close against the ceiling. The plate measures 40cm across, and the shallow build keeps the whole fitting tight overhead rather than dropping down into the room. The tinted shades soften the light while the chrome picks up whatever daylight the room has. It is a quiet fitting rather than a loud one, with nothing on show but the shape of the shades and the shine of the metal.

We reach for this where a pendant would hang too low: hallways and landings, a bedroom under a sloping ceiling, a small dining room where headroom is short. Light coming from more than one point spreads more evenly across a space than a single central fitting manages, which helps in a room that has to do several jobs at once. It takes E27 lamps up to 20W each, and we would fit LEDs. It can be dimmed if you pair suitable lamps with a compatible dimmer, bought separately, which makes it as workable over a table in the evening as it is on a landing first thing.

The shades are smoke, the frame and ceiling plate polished chrome, and the two together keep the fitting looking lighter than its width suggests. Dust it with a dry cloth once the power is off and the shades have cooled, and if fingermarks show on the chrome, put a little cleaner on the cloth rather than spraying it at the fitting. It carries a one year warranty. The Lori range runs wider than this piece: smaller single-light versions of the same round flush fitting come in polished chrome or antique gold, and the wine shade is also offered in amber. Lamps are not included.

Specification

Colour

Polished Chrome

Second Colour

Smoke

Weight

3.30KG

Diameter

400mm

Height

90mm

Materials Used

Iron, Steel,Glass

Adjustable Height

No

Energy Class

A++ to A

Max Energy Class

A++

Min Energy Class

A

Lamp

3 x E27 20W max (lamps not included)

Lamp Cap

E27

Recommended Lamp

LED Lamp Dependant On Shade

Light Distribution

Ambient

Protection Class

Class 1 - Earth Connection Required

Total Power Consumption

Dependent On Lamps Used (±5%)

Input Voltage

220-240V~ 50/60Hz

Dimmable

Yes - Suitable Lamps & Dimmer Required

Dimmer Included

No

IP Rating

IP20

Warranty

1yr

UKCA/CE

Yes

Shade Colour

Smoke

Base Dimensions

D:350mm x H:25mm

Plate Dimensions

D:400mm x T:1.0mm

Bracket Dimensions

L:250mm x L:250mm x W:25mm

Shade Material

Glass

Shade Included

Yes

Number of Shades

3

Pieces Included

1

Unassembled

Yes-Shades To Be Attached

Installation

Requires Installation By Qualified Electrician

Sloped Ceiling Compatible

No

Product Care

(1) Wipe clean with a dry cloth, do not use any cleaning detergents, do not use rough or coarse material to clean.
