looney-tunes-bugs-bunny-and-lola-wooden-bookends-sky-blue
Looney Tunes Bugs Bunny and Lola Wooden Bookends - Sky Blue

Description

These wooden bookends bring Lola and Bugs Bunny to the bookshelf, each character cut out in bright colour and standing proud of a sky blue upright. Lola leans against one, in her yellow top and purple shorts with a band in her hair, while Bugs Bunny grins from the other with a carrot in his paw. Each bookend is an L shape, with a tall back that holds the books upright and a flat base that sits beneath the end book to keep the row steady. The words LOONEY TUNES run along the front of each base in their familiar cartoon lettering, and a fine line drawing of each character sits on top of the base. Each stands 15cm tall and 12cm wide, a compact size that suits a single shelf.

At 15cm tall they sit happily beside paperbacks, picture books and slimmer hardbacks, keeping a short row of favourites from sliding over. We like them on a bedroom bookshelf or a study desk, where the sky blue brings a bright note to plain wood or white paint. They work just as well holding a run of comics or DVDs on a living room shelf, and they give a cheerful finish to a reading corner.

The bookends are made of wood with a smooth sky blue finish, and each character panel is fixed to the face of its upright, so the artwork has a little depth. To keep them bright, dust with a soft dry cloth, or wipe gently with a barely damp cloth and dry straight away, and keep them clear of standing water. Set them at either end of a short row so Bugs and Lola keep each other company across the shelf. Tied with a ribbon, they make a cheerful gift that is ready to use the moment it is unwrapped.

Specification

Material

Wood

Colour

Sky Blue

Height

15cm

Width

12cm

Depth

1cm

Weight

0.748kg

Design

Bugs Bunny And Lola

Frequently Asked

How big are these bookends?

Each bookend stands 15cm tall and 12cm wide, a compact size that sits comfortably beside paperbacks, picture books and slimmer hardbacks.

What are the bookends made of?

They are made of wood with a smooth sky blue finish, and each cartoon character is cut out and fixed to the face of its upright.

Which characters are on the bookends?

Lola leans against one bookend in her yellow top and purple shorts, and Bugs Bunny grins from the other with a carrot in his paw.

How do the bookends hold books in place?

Each is an L shape.
