linley-fish-glass-candle-holders-set-of-2-blue
Linley Fish Glass Candle Holders Set of 2 - Blue

Description

This is a pair of blue glass candle holders, each one shaped as a fish with its scales and fins picked out in the glass. One stands upright: the fish rises from a flared tail that forms its base, and its open mouth makes the candle socket. It is 12cm tall and 8cm across. The other lies flat, a low fish-shaped dish 13cm long, 7.5cm wide and 2.5cm tall, with a raised socket at its centre, a small eye and a ridged tail. Both are 100% glass, and the set weighs 0.43KG.

Because one is tall and one is low, the pair gives you two candle heights at once, which makes a small grouping look considered rather than lined up in a row. Set them on a console table in the hall, along a sideboard or on a bookshelf, or bring them to the table for an evening with friends. The fish shape sits naturally in a coastal scheme beside shells, driftwood or seaside prints, and it adds a light-hearted touch to a calm room of plain wood and soft textiles. They also make a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves the sea or simply enjoys candlelight at home.

There is no metal cup or separate insert: the material is 100% glass throughout. Light passes through glass, so once a candle is lit the flame glows in the blue body and catches the ridges of the scales and fins. Glass is also hard and non-porous, so wax sits on the surface instead of being absorbed. The styling props shown are not included, so choose your own candles; one colour across both keeps the eye on the blue glass. For the neatest arrangement, place the flat fish slightly in front of the upright one and a little to one side, so both flames can be seen at once and the two silhouettes read as a pair.

Specification

Holder 1

Width 7.5cm, Length 13cm, Height 2.5cm

Holder 2

Height 12cm, Diameter 8cm

Sold as

Set of 2

Material

100% Glass

Colour

Blue

Weight

0.43KG

Frequently Asked

What is included?

You receive two blue glass holders: an upright fish 12cm tall and 8cm across, and a flat fish dish 13cm long, 7.5cm wide and 2.5cm tall.
