lily-artificial-stem-white
Lily Artificial Stem - White

Description

This lily stem is a single artificial flower, 76cm tall and 13cm across, with a white flowerhead of long, pointed petals that curl gently at the tips and gather into a loose cup. A ring of slim leaves sits beneath the bloom, and the long, slender stem runs below it, so the head stands clear of whatever vase holds it. It is made from 90% polyethylene and 10% iron, and the whole piece weighs just 0.12KG.

At 76cm tall, it suits a tall vase on a sideboard, a hall table or a mantelpiece, where a single head reads clearly from across the room. One stem on its own makes a quiet, simple display for a bedside table or a desk, while a few together give a fuller look. It sits just as happily among other artificial flowers and greenery in a mixed arrangement, adding height and a clear focal point. An artificial stem never needs watering and will not wilt, which makes it a good choice for a guest room, an office or a holiday home that stands empty for weeks at a time.

The maker's care note asks that it be handled with care to avoid breaking the leaves or the flowerhead, and that it be trimmed and folded into place before use. In practice, that means cutting the stem to suit the height of your vase and shaping the leaves and petals by hand before you display it. Trim a little at a time, standing it in the vase between cuts, since a cut cannot be undone. For the simplest look, give a single stem a slim, narrow-necked vase so the long line of the stem does the work, and set it against a plain wall where the white petals show clearly.

Specification

Height

76cm

Diameter

13cm

Material

90% Polyethylene, 10% Iron

Colour

White

Care

Handle with care to avoid breakage of the leaves/flowerheads.
