lianna-iron-rechargeable-table-lamp-beige
Lianna Iron Rechargeable Table Lamp - Beige

Description

This is a small table lamp made entirely of iron, in beige, that runs from its own rechargeable battery rather than from a wall socket. It stands 28cm tall, 15cm long and 13.5cm wide, with a shade 15cm across and 11.4cm tall held on a slim stem above a round base. It takes an LED of up to 4.5W, and the bulb comes with it, as does the lithium battery, so once it has been charged it is ready to use. At 0.9KG it is easy to lift and carry from one table to another, while the iron gives it a steady footing.

Because it needs no socket while it is lit, it suits the places a plug cannot easily reach: the middle of a dining table, a side table beside the sofa, a bedside away from the wall, a bookshelf or the corner of a desk. At 28cm tall it sits comfortably beside a reading chair or on a narrow console without crowding it. It is rated IP40, so it belongs in dry rooms such as the living room, bedroom, hallway and home office. It suits anyone who wants a small lamp where wiring would be awkward, and renters who would rather not run extension leads across the floor.

The lamp is iron throughout, beige from shade to base, and it switches on by touch at the base, so there is no cord switch to hunt for in the dark. It comes with its charging cable, which is black and 150cm long, and the charging point sits on the side of the base. The maker's assembly instructions come as a PDF download, and the styling props shown are not included. The beige sits easily with pale wood, linen and stone; place the lamp slightly off centre on a round side table, with a short stack of books beside it to balance the slender stem.

Specification

Width

13.5cm

Length

15cm

Height

28cm

Material

100% Iron

Colour

Beige

Bulb fitting

LED

Maximum bulb

LED 4.5W

Bulb included

Yes

Cable length

150cm

Cable colour

Black

Switch

Touch switch on base

IP rating

IP40

Shade size

Height 11.4cm, Diameter 15cm

Power source

Rechargeable battery

Battery

Lithium, rechargeable

Batteries included

Yes

Charging cable

Included

Weight

0.9KG

Downloads

Assembly instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Does the lamp need to stay plugged in to work?

No. It runs from a rechargeable lithium battery, which comes with the lamp, so once charged it can sit well away from a socket.
