lemons-floral-polyester-table-runner-blue
Lemons Floral Polyester Table Runner - Blue

Description

This table runner carries a digitally printed lemon design across a pale, softly woven ground, with clusters of yellow fruit and green foliage scattered from end to end and a dual-toned striped border running the length of each long edge. It is made from 100% woven polyester, which gives it a firm, ribbed hand and a good deal of resilience for a piece that has to sit under plates, glasses and the occasional spill. It comes in two lengths, 180cm and 220cm, both 35cm wide, so you can match the run to the length of your table.

A runner earns its place down the centre of a dining or kitchen table, drawing the eye along the setting and giving your plates and glasses a defined line to sit around. This one leans bright and summery, and the blue striped edge picks up naval napkins and blue-and-white china readily, as the styled settings show. The lemon motif suits a relaxed, outdoor-leaning table as much as a formal one, and it works equally well laid over a plain white cloth or straight onto bare wood. Choose the 180cm length for a four to six seater and the 220cm for a longer table where you want the runner to reach closer to each end.

The weave is a flat, tightly worked polyester that resists creasing and shrugs off knocks, which is why it is described as suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Bring it back inside after an alfresco lunch rather than leaving it out. It is machine washable, so a stray drop of wine or a smear of olive oil is no cause for worry. Polyester holds printed colour well and dries quickly, so the lemons stay crisp wash after wash. If you want a coordinated look, the supplier makes a matching Lemons placemat set to sit alongside it.

Specification

Material

100% woven polyester

Design

Digitally printed lemon floral with dual-toned striped border, modern

Size

180 x 35cm to 220 x 35cm

Product care

Machine washable, suitable for indoor or outdoor use

Frequently Asked

What are the two sizes and which should I choose?

The runner comes in 180 x 35cm and 220 x 35cm.
