The serving face is a long rounded rectangle held inside a raised lip, and a shaped handle carries on from one end of it. The glass is recycled, so it holds a green tone where the section is thickest and a scatter of small bubbles through it, and the top is faintly rippled where it took the shape of the mould.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe length is what this size is for. A long platter takes a row of things rather than a heap of them, so a line of cheeses, a run of canapes or a whole side of smoked fish goes down it end to end.
