koi-pond-reversible-polyester-cushion-midnight
Koi Pond Reversible Polyester Cushion - Midnight

Description

This is the Koi Pond cushion, an outdoor cushion printed on both faces with a busy ornamental pond scene: koi carp swimming among lily pads and pond plants, set against a deep midnight blue ground. It is made from 100% polyester and measures 43 x 43cm, the standard square size that suits most scatter arrangements. The design is reversible, so both sides carry the print and the cushion sits well whichever way it lands.

Because the fabric is a UV and water resistant polyester, this cushion is built for outdoor use. It is at home on a garden chair, a bench or a rattan seat on the patio, and the busy print reads well from a distance rather than needing to be seen up close. The midnight ground means the bright oranges, greens and golds of the koi and lilies stand out clearly, so a pair or a trio brings colour to a plain seat or a neutral outdoor sofa. Bring it indoors over winter and it works just as happily on a sofa or a reading chair.

The construction is a knife edge finish with a zip fastening, so the cover comes off for cleaning and the seams sit flat to the corner rather than being piped. The polyester fabric is quick to dry and shrugs off the occasional shower or spill, which is the point of an outdoor cushion. The whole thing is designed, printed and made in the UK. The supplier tells us a matching digitally printed outdoor rug is available in the same Koi print, if you want to pull an aquatic Japanese-inspired theme together across a whole outdoor space.

Specification

Material

100% Polyester

Design

Reversible koi and lily pond print, midnight blue ground

Construction

Knife edge finish with zip fastening; UV and water resistant

Size

43 x 43cm

Country of origin

United Kingdom

Frequently Asked

Can this cushion be left outside?

It is made from UV and water resistant polyester and is designed to withstand sunshine, showers and spills, so it is suited to garden and patio use.

Is the print on both sides?

Yes, the design is reversible and both faces carry the same koi and lily pond print, so it looks right whichever way it falls.

Does the cover come off?

The cushion has a zip fastening, so the cover can be removed.
