kiruna-velvet-faux-fur-cushion-taupe
Kiruna Velvet Faux Fur Cushion - Taupe

Description

The Kiruna cushion pairs a soft, velvet-feel face with a deep faux fur border, and it is finished in a warm taupe. Both front and back are made from 100% polyester, with the fur worked in mottled natural tones of brown and grey so the trim reads as a realistic pelt rather than a flat band. It measures 45 x 45cm, a generous square that holds its shape well against the back of a sofa or a bed. A small hidden zip along one edge keeps the closure out of sight, so the cover stays clean-lined from every angle.

This is a cushion for a room you want to feel warm and enclosed. The velvet-feel centre is smooth and inviting to lean into, while the fur edge gives the piece real weight and texture, the kind of thing that suits a snug living room, a reading corner or the head of a bed. At 45 x 45cm it sits comfortably alongside larger scatter cushions or works in a pair to frame a seat. The natural-toned trim keeps company with neutrals, wood furniture and other soft, tactile fabrics rather than fighting a busy scheme.

Because the whole cover is polyester it is hard-wearing and holds its colour, and the fur is entirely synthetic, so no animals are involved in making it. The velvet face is plain, which lets the texture of the two surfaces do the work. Care is straightforward to follow but specific: this cover is dry clean only, and it may be ironed if needed. Keep the fur trim away from direct heat when you press. Styled simply, one on a bench or two on a bed, it brings a cabin-warm note to a plain setting.

Specification

Material

100% polyester

Design

Plain velvet-feel face with faux fur trim

Construction

Velvet-feel front and back, faux fur border, hidden zip closure

Size

45 x 45cm

Washing

Dry clean only

Ironing

Iron appropriate

Frequently Asked

Is the fur trim real?

No, the border is faux fur made from 100% polyester, worked in natural brown and grey tones so it looks like a real pelt without any animal being involved.

How do I clean this cushion cover?

The cover is dry clean only, so we would not put it through a home wash.
