The brass carries an aged antique tone. The metal is soldered round the glass by hand with traditional tools, and the weld marks are left showing on the joins rather than dressed away.

One side is hinged and swings open, so these are made to be filled: a small gift for the tree, a pair of earrings, a ring, anything that will sit inside a box 6cm high. Filled or empty they read on a branch, because the glass lets light through where a solid decoration would stop it. Off the tree they serve as the packaging for the gift itself.

The boxes are recycled glass set in brass. Each one is soldered by hand, so the joins are marked and the run of the solder differs from box to box. Two come in the set. The Kiko range also holds photo frames and mirrors in the same brass.

Specification

Height

6cm

Width

3.5cm

Depth

6.5cm

Material

Glass & Brass

Colour

Aged Antique

Weight

0.16kg

Frequently Asked

How big are they?

Each box is 6cm high, 6.5cm deep and 3.5cm wide.
