Most of the stone is cream, with a broad tan band running down one side and across the shoulder and a vein of grey-green inside it. The outside is worked smooth and the bore of the collar is left rough.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt 9cm in every direction it takes a shelf, a mantelpiece or the corner of a sideboard without needing a clear run of space, and at 0.98kg it is heavy for its size and stands firmly. The opening is narrow, so it holds a few stems rather than a bunch.
