The body is a plain drum with square shoulders, and the top steps in to a flat rim and then up again into a raised collar with a narrow round opening. The marble is cream, banded in tan and rust that runs diagonally across the drum and carries on up over the collar, and the grain of the stone shows as fine specks through the pale ground.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt stands 9.5cm high and takes very little room: a shelf edge, a mantelpiece, the corner of a sideboard. The opening is narrow and will hold a few dried stems rather than a bunch, and it stands alongside the rounded vase from the same range.
