The marble is a dark charcoal cut through with white and grey veining, and the iron is a dark, aged tone with a worn sheen.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt 72cm the top stands at about dining table height rather than at the height of a low side table, and the gallery rail round each tier gives bottles and glasses something to sit against. The lower shelf is a second full oval, so the same 84 by 49cm of floor carries two levels: bottles below and glasses above, or the other way round.
