It measures 11cm long and is made from aluminium, left in a plain aluminium colour. An opal diffuser sits across the open face of the channel and softens the LED strip into an even glow, while both ends of the channel stay open so the strip can pass straight through the bend. No IP rating is given, so treat it as an indoor part for dry rooms.

Corners are where strip lighting usually gives itself away, with a gap, a dark spot or a strip bent awkwardly round the angle. This connector closes that gap, so a line of light can follow the edge of a ceiling, wrap round a bulkhead or box-out, or turn the corner of an alcove as one continuous shape. It sits on a ceiling or a wall indoors, and it suits anyone planning cove or perimeter lighting who wants the corners to look as deliberate as the straight runs. At a ceiling corner, the profile reads as a slim, clean frame of light against plain paintwork rather than a piece of hardware.

The body is an aluminium channel with a mitred corner, and small metal mounting clips hold it to the surface. Aluminium is light and does not rust, and the connector weighs 0.044KG packed, so it adds next to nothing to the load on a ceiling. A soft, dry cloth now and then keeps the opal diffuser looking clean. One practical note: every corner in your run needs its own connector, so count the corners as well as measuring the straight lengths before you order.

Specification

Length

11cm

Body Material

Aluminium

Body Colour

Aluminium

Weight (packed)

0.044KG

Frequently Asked

Where can the Karbora Surface Profile Connector go?

It turns a surface-mounted LED strip profile round a right-angled corner, on a ceiling or a wall indoors, such as the edge of a bulkhead or an alcove.

Can I use this corner connector outdoors or in a bathroom?

No IP rating is given for this connector, so we suggest keeping it indoors in dry rooms, away from water and away from the weather.

How long is the connector?

The connector measures 11cm long, a compact piece that handles just the turn at each corner of your run.

What material is the connector?

The body is aluminium in a plain aluminium colour, with an opal diffuser across the channel that softens the light from the LED strip.

How much does the connector weigh?

It weighs 0.044KG packed, so it is a very light part that adds almost nothing to a ceiling or wall run.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0729/8993/3835/files/surface-profile-2-connector-aluminium.jpg?v=1792462276
