Each has an aluminium body and a round lens set into a flat frame 8.8cm along each side. The light comes from a built-in LED rather than a bulb. Each downlight is rated at 4.8W and gives 450lm at 2700K, a warm white that sits comfortably in a living room or bedroom in the evening. They carry an IP20 rating, which settles where they belong: indoors, in dry rooms, and never in a bathroom, a shower area or outside.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe round lens tilts within its square frame, so each downlight can be angled off the vertical. You can wash light across a row of pictures, pick out a shelf or bring a little more light to a reading chair rather than flooding the whole floor. Three to a set makes it easy to light a run along a bulkhead, a hallway ceiling or a kitchen dining area in one go.
