kaiam-iron-christmas-decorations-set-of-2-gold
Kaiam Iron Christmas Decorations Set of 2 - Gold

Description

This pair of Christmas tree decorations is made from 100% iron and finished in gold lacquer, each tree built from stacked, flared tiers that dip at their edges like the branches of a fir. The larger tree has four tiers and the smaller has three, and every tier has a dimpled, rippled surface that catches the light from a candle or a fire. The smaller tree is 23cm long, 5cm wide and 23.5cm tall; the larger is 30cm long, 7cm wide and 37cm tall, so they read as a stepped pair rather than twins. Together they weigh 0.62KG.

Their slim build is what makes them so useful: at just 5cm and 7cm wide, they stand happily on a mantelpiece, a narrow shelf or a windowsill where even a small potted tree would never fit. We like them on a hallway console to greet guests as they come in, along a sideboard among greenery and pillar candles, or above the fire with the stockings hung beneath. They suit anyone who wants a little shine at Christmas without the fuss of baubles and tinsel, and they make an easy gift for someone setting up their first home.

Iron gives each tree a firm, rigid body, so the tiers hold their curve, and the lacquer coat gives the gold its even sheen over the textured metal. Each tree stands on the flared lower edge of its bottom tier, with no separate base or stand to hide. For the best effect, set the taller tree slightly behind and to one side of the smaller so their tiers overlap, then let a trail of greenery or a few slim candles fill the space around them.

Specification

Decoration 1

Width 5cm, Length 23cm, Height 23.5cm

Decoration 2

Width 7cm, Length 30cm, Height 37cm

Sold as

Set of 2

Material

100% Iron

Colour

Gold

Finish

Lacquer

Weight

0.62KG

Frequently Asked

What are the trees made of?

Both trees are made from 100% iron with a gold lacquer finish, which gives an even sheen over their dimpled, rippled surface.

How big is each tree?

The smaller tree is 23cm long, 5cm wide and 23.5cm tall.
