Everything else is plain cream: the outside of the rim, the underside of the plate, the column, and the stepped ring it stands on.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe plate is flat and the rim is low enough that a slice lifts straight off it. With a cake on it the green drops still show round the edge behind. Pastries, scones or a wedge of cheese sit on it the same way.
