jolly-santa-plain-velvet-cushion-multi
Jolly Santa Plain Velvet Cushion - Multi

Description

This is a printed velvet cushion for Christmas, showing Santa mid-dance on a pale skating scene, candy cane in hand, with two snow-dusted Christmas trees behind him and the words “Let it Snow” across the top. It measures 43 x 43cm, the standard square that most cushion pads and covers are built around, so replacements and layering companions are easy to find. The front carries the full printed scene; the reverse is a plain ruby red velvet, so the cushion reads as festive from the front and quietly rich from the back or the side.

It suits a sofa, an armchair or a bed dressed for the season, and it does the seasonal-decor job without demanding a whole scheme built around it. The plain red reverse means you can flip it after the holidays and keep a plain velvet cushion in play if you want, and the red-and-green palette sits happily against tartan or gingham throws and other traditional Christmas textiles. Two of these at either end of a sofa, or one against a plainer cushion, gives you the festive note without covering every seat.

The cover is made from 100% polyester velvet, which is why it feels soft to the touch and stands up to a busy household through the party season. It is finished with a piped trim around the edge, which gives the seam a defined line and helps the cushion hold its square shape, and a zip fastening so the cover comes off when you need it to. Polyester velvet holds printed colour well, keeping the reds and greens bright through repeated use. Pack it away carefully after the season and it will come out ready for next year.

Specification

Material

100% polyester velvet

Design

Printed festive Santa scene, plain red reverse

Construction

Piped trim, zip fastening

Size

43 x 43cm

Country of origin

United Kingdom

Frequently Asked

What is the cushion made from?

The cover is 100% polyester velvet, which gives it a soft touch while staying durable enough for everyday use through a busy Christmas season.

What does the back of the cushion look like?

The reverse is a plain ruby red velvet with no print, so you can turn it over for a quieter look or pair it with your other cushions.

Does the cover come off for cleaning?

Yes, there is a zip fastening along one edge, so the cover can be removed from the pad when you need to take it off.

What size is it and will my pad fit?

It measures 43 x 43cm, the common square size, so a standard 43cm or slightly larger pad will fill it out neatly.

Can I use it after Christmas?

The printed front is festive, but the plain red velvet reverse means you can flip it and keep a plain velvet cushion in use year round.
