The seat pad is square with rounded corners, deep green and slightly mottled where the leather has taken the dye unevenly. Four round iron legs splay outwards, tied by a square footrail set low.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe seat sits at 69cm, which is counter height, so it pulls under a kitchen island or a breakfast bar rather than a dining table. Overall it stands 107cm to the top of the back, 44cm wide and 52cm deep, and the footrail runs right round all four sides, so there is somewhere to put a foot whichever way the stool is turned. The cane is detailed on the reverse as well as the front, which is the face that shows when the stool is pushed under an island.
