iselmorne-wooden-table-lamp-black
Iselmorne Wooden Table Lamp - Black

Description

The Iselmorne is a wooden table lamp with a single light, held inside a shade of four curved, rounded panels in black acrylic. The panels are smoked and see-through, and when the lamp is on the light glows softly through them while their glossy inner faces catch the room's reflections. They rise from a cylindrical oak base in its natural wood colour, with a black collar at the top and a brass-coloured ring at the foot. It comes in two sizes: the Small is 31.5cm tall, 13.5cm wide and 13.5cm deep, and the Large is 40cm tall, 18cm wide and 18cm deep.

We see it in the living room, the bedroom or the hallway: on a side table by the sofa, beside the bed, or on a sideboard or chest of drawers. The Small sits neatly on a bedside table or a shelf, while the Large, at 40cm tall, has the height to hold its own on a sideboard or console table. Because the light comes through smoked panels, it is a lamp for setting a mood in the evening, and we would pair it with a ceiling light where you need brighter light for tasks. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The maker states it is for indoor use only.

It is made from oak, acrylic and metal: the oak base shows its warm grain, the acrylic forms the four shade panels, and the black finish belongs to the shade. It is not dimmable, so it is not one for a dimmer switch, and it comes with a UK plug for a standard socket. For styling, let the natural oak pick up other wood in the room, and stand it against a plain wall where the curved panels read clearly, with a little space either side so its outline is never crowded.

Specification

Colour

Black

Height

31.5cm (Small) & 40cm (Large)

Width

13.5cm (Small) & 18cm (Large)

Depth

13.5cm (Small) & 18cm (Large)

Dimmable

No

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Plug

UK Plug

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What sizes does the Iselmorne table lamp come in?

It comes in two sizes.
