imperial-flush-ceiling-light-bronze
Imperial Flush Ceiling Light - Bronze

Description

The Imperial is a flush ceiling light with a deep dome of white satin glass held in a cast metal band with a bronzed finish. Fine grooved lines run around the band, and a fluted bronze finial sits at the centre of the glass, giving it a classic, traditional look. It is 14cm tall and 31cm across, so it sits close to the ceiling where a pendant would hang too low. It takes two E27 bulbs of up to 25W each, and the bulbs are not included, so you choose the colour of light yourself. It is rated IP20, so it is an indoor light for the living spaces of the home.

With its low profile it is a natural choice for a hallway or landing, and it works just as well in a bedroom, a dining room or a living room furnished in a period or classic style. Satin glass spreads light softly, so the room is lit evenly without a harsh glare from the bulbs, and the warm tone of the bronzed band sits happily alongside wood, brass and cream paintwork. We think it suits anyone restoring an older house, or anyone who wants a traditional ceiling light that does not crowd the room.

The body is cast metal, a dense and rigid material that keeps the band true around the glass, and the light weighs 2.832KG packed. There is no switch on the light itself: it is controlled from your wall switch, and it runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Have two E27 bulbs of 25W or less ready before the electrician arrives, and the light can be working the same day.

Specification

Height

14cm

Diameter

31cm

Body Material

Cast metal

Body Colour

Bronzed

Shade Material

Satin glass

Shade Colour

White

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 2 x 25W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

2.832KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can I use this light in a hallway?

Yes.
