The base is a broad low disc with a rounded lip and a flared foot, and around its side the grain stands up in fine close ridges that take the light in lines. The glass sits down into a recess cut in the top of it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe bowl is open at the top and 13cm across, which takes a pillar candle with room around it, and the glass stands up around the flame on every side.
