The wood is pale, dry and weathered, carrying saw marks, open splits and darker patches where the boards came from different panels.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt 45cm across, the top takes a cup, a book and a small lamp without crowding. It stands beside a sofa. It works as a low stool as well as a side table, so it will be sat on.
