A wide black cone with straight sides and a sharp open rim, standing on a very slim black stem that rises from a flat round black disc base. The cone is shallow for its width, so the lamp reads as a broad triangle over a thin line. A small brass collar marks where the stem meets the base, the only warm note on the lamp. The stem is a plain round tube with no joints along it and is deliberately thin. A black flex leaves the foot and trails away. It measures 40cm across and 140cm tall.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt stands beside a chair or at the end of a sofa, where it puts one pool of light exactly where it is needed without lighting the whole space.
