hosmane-6-light-linear-pendant-light-antique-brown-black
Hosmane 6 Light Linear Pendant Light - Antique Brown & Black

Description

The Hosmane is a six-light linear pendant light built around a long steel beam, shaped like a girder and finished in a mottled antique brown that gives it the look of weathered metal. Black cables wind around the beam before dropping to black lamp holders, which leave each bulb bare with no shade. The beam is 100.5cm long and 7cm wide, and the light has an overall height of 110cm. It takes E27 bulbs, up to 60W in each of its six holders, and the bulbs are not included, so the choice of lamp is yours. Its IP20 rating means it belongs indoors, in a dry room.

Hung over a dining table or a kitchen island, the Hosmane spreads light along the whole surface, where a single pendant would leave the ends of the table in shadow. The rugged brown beam and black cables suit an industrial or loft look, and sit comfortably alongside exposed brick, reclaimed wood and dark metal furniture. It works as well over a long desk or a breakfast bar in an open-plan room, giving a clear line of light that helps zone the space. Because the bulbs hang bare, the bulb you choose becomes part of the look, so it is worth picking ones you will enjoy seeing.

The body is steel, finished in antique brown and black. Steel is strong and rigid, which suits a beam of this length. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall, so it runs from your existing light switch. It works on a 220-240V, 50/60Hz supply, and it weighs 3.53KG packed. As a mains light wired into the ceiling, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Have six E27 bulbs of 60W or less ready before the fitting day, and the light is ready to use once it is in place.

Specification

Length

100.5cm

Width

7cm

Overall Height

110cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Antique brown, black

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 6 x 60W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

3.53KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Hosmane go in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. Its IP20 rating means it is made for indoor use in dry rooms, so it should not be used in a bathroom, outdoors or anywhere it could meet water.

Are bulbs included with the Hosmane?

No, the bulbs are not included.
