honolulu-floral-polyester-cushion-pink
Honolulu Floral Polyester Cushion - Pink

Description

The Honolulu cushion is a printed outdoor cushion made from 100% polyester, carrying a tropical floral design of open white blooms, dark upright leaves and feathery palm fronds set against a warm pink ground. It is a square cushion, 43 x 43cm, filled and finished as a complete unit with a hidden zip closure at one edge. The print is a painterly botanical study rather than a repeat of small motifs, so the flowers and foliage read as a full scene across the face of the cushion.

This one is built for outside. It sits well on a garden bench, a rattan sofa or a set of patio chairs, and the pink ground works with the natural greens and creams of a planted border or the warm tones of a woven throw. Because it is made for the garden, it earns its place on a sunny seat where a purely decorative indoor cushion would fade or mark. Bring it in over winter and it will happily carry on as a living room or conservatory cushion, so it need not be packed away when the season turns.

Polyester is the reason it copes outdoors: the fibre sheds water rather than soaking it up, so the cushion is made to withstand showers and spills and dries out again once the weather clears. The design is UV resistant, which is what keeps the colours from washing out in strong sun. The cushion has a standard knife edge, the plain seamed edge you would expect on a square scatter cushion, and a hidden zip so the closure stays out of sight. It is supplied as a single cushion at 43 x 43cm, a size that suits most outdoor seating without crowding it.

Specification

Material

100% polyester

Design

Printed tropical floral, UV resistant

Construction

Knife edge with hidden zip closure

Size

43 x 43cm

Sold as

Single cushion

Country of origin

United Kingdom

Frequently Asked

Can this cushion be left outside?

It is made as an outdoor cushion from water resistant polyester, so it is designed to cope with showers and spills and to dry out again afterwards.

Will the pink and floral colours fade in the sun?

The design is UV resistant, which is what helps the print hold its colour through strong summer sunlight rather than washing out over a season.

What size is the cushion?

It measures 43 x 43cm, a square scatter size that suits most garden benches, rattan sofas and patio chairs without overwhelming the seat.

How does the cover close?

It has a hidden zip closure set into one seamed edge, so the fastening stays out of sight and the tropical print reads cleanly across the face.

Can I use it indoors as well?

Yes.
