home-is-where-my-cat-is-sketch-stoneware-mug-400ml-white
Home Is Where My Cat Is Sketch Stoneware Mug 400ml - White

Description

This white stoneware mug is covered all the way round in black line drawings of cats, sketched as if lifted straight from an artist's notebook. Cats stroll with their tails curled high, sit upright with a neat collar and curl up beside a food bowl, while kittens with bows chase little butterflies across the glaze. Inside the rim, the words HOME IS WHERE MY CAT IS are printed in black against a soft grey interior, so the message greets you every time you lift it to drink. The handle is glazed in the same pale grey, and the body widens gently from the rim to a broad, steady base. It holds 400ml and stands 9cm tall, 13.5cm wide and 8cm deep.

We think it belongs wherever the kettle goes on: the kitchen, a desk at home, or the side table next to the armchair where the cat likes to settle. At 400ml it holds a generous brew, a proper mug of tea, a milky coffee or a hot chocolate on a cold evening, with no need for a top up halfway through. It makes a thoughtful gift for pet lovers, especially anyone whose household runs around a cat, whether that is a new kitten or an old friend who has claimed the sofa for years.

The mug is made from stoneware and finished in a smooth gloss glaze. It is white on the outside with pale grey inside and on the handle, so the black drawings stand out clearly. As good practice for glazed stoneware, we suggest washing it by hand in warm soapy water and drying it with a soft cloth to keep the printed drawings looking crisp. Hang it on a mug tree with the cats facing out, or wrap it with a bag of favourite tea or a packet of cat treats for a gift that feels thought through.

Specification

Material

Stoneware

Colour

White

Finish

Gloss

Height

9cm

Width

13.5cm

Depth

8cm

Weight

0.38kg

Capacity

400ml

Frequently Asked

How much does this mug hold?

It holds 400ml, which is a generous size for a full mug of tea, a milky coffee or a hot chocolate.

What is the mug made from?

It is made from stoneware, a type of ceramic.
