hismena-zigbee-remote-control-grey
Hismena Zigbee Remote Control - Grey

Description

The Hismena is a slim handheld Zigbee controller for lighting, with a grey plastic body around a black button face. It measures 12.2cm long, 5.4cm wide and 1.8cm high, so it sits comfortably in one hand and slips into a drawer or onto a side table without fuss. The long, rounded shape is easy to hold. It runs on two AAA batteries rather than mains power, so it goes wherever you go in the house.

It suits anyone whose lighting already runs on Zigbee and who would rather change it from the sofa, the bed or the doorway than cross the room to a wall switch. We like it in a living room or a bedroom, where it can live on a bedside table or the arm of a chair and save a walk in the dark. For anyone who finds a wall switch awkward to reach, a handset kept close at hand makes everyday lighting simpler.

The body is plastic in a grey finish, light at 0.108KG packed, with a black face that keeps the buttons easy to pick out. To keep it looking its best, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and keep it away from water. When the buttons stop responding, a fresh pair of AAA batteries is the first thing to try. The installation instructions come as a download, and we suggest reading them before you pair it with your lights.

Specification

Length

12.2cm

Width

5.4cm

Height

1.8cm

Body Material

Plastic

Body Colour

Grey

Battery

2 x AAA, R03P, 1,5V

Weight (packed)

0.108KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What batteries does the Hismena take?

It takes two AAA batteries, a common household size, so a fresh pair is easy to find whenever the old ones are spent.

How big is the Hismena?

It is 12.2cm long, 5.4cm wide and 1.8cm high, a slim handheld size that sits easily on a bedside table or the arm of a chair.

How much does the Hismena weigh?

Packed, it weighs 0.108KG, so it is light to hold and easy to carry from room to room.

Which lights does the Hismena control?

It is a Zigbee controller for lighting, so it is made for lights that run on Zigbee, the wireless standard used by many smart lights.

What colour is the Hismena?

The housing is grey plastic, with a black button face that keeps the controls clear and easy to read in everyday use.

Are there instructions for the Hismena?

Yes, the installation instructions come as a download, so you can read them through before you pair the Hismena with your lights.
