highland-cow-mum-and-baby-resin-figurine-with-tulips-brown
Highland Cow Mum and Baby Resin Figurine with Tulips - Brown

Description

This resin figurine of a Highland cow and her calf makes a gentle, heartfelt gift for Mum. The mother stands tall with her shaggy brown coat, curved pale horns and a soft fringe falling over her eyes. Her calf lies curled at her side, leaning in close. They rest together on a rounded, pebble-like base in a speckled sandy beige, with sprays of pink tulips and green leaves painted at either end. Across the front, in a flowing script, are the words "First my mum, forever my friend." The piece stands 11cm tall, 10cm wide and 5cm deep, small enough for a shelf or bedside table.

We think it suits any room where Mum keeps the things she treasures: a mantelpiece, a windowsill, a dressing table or the shelf beside her favourite chair. Its warm browns and soft sandy tones sit happily with cottage interiors, natural wood and cream walls, and the Highland cattle bring a little of the hills and glens indoors. The message speaks of a bond that grows from childhood into friendship, which makes it a lovely choice from a son or daughter of any age. Anyone who adores Highland cows will warm to the detail in those tousled coats.

The figurine is made from resin, with the cattle sitting on top of the base, and the back is left plain, so it looks tidy from every side. It stands on its own on any flat surface, so it needs no wall or fixings. The fur, horns, hooves and tulips are finely textured and painted, so we suggest a gentle touch when cleaning: dust with a soft dry cloth, or wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. Wrap it up with a handwritten card and it tells Mum how much she means before she has even read the words.

Specification

Material

Polystone

Colour

Brown

Height

11cm

Width

10cm

Depth

5cm

Weight

0.141kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the Highland cow figurine?

It stands 11cm tall, 10cm wide and 5cm deep, a size that sits comfortably on a shelf, windowsill, mantelpiece or bedside table.

What does the message on the figurine say?

The front of the base reads "First my mum, forever my friend." in a flowing script, framed by painted pink tulips on either side.

What is the figurine made of?

It is made from resin.
