highland-cow-in-santa-hat-christmas-rules-plaque-white
Highland Cow in Santa Hat Christmas Rules Plaque - White

Description

This Christmas rules plaque brings a shaggy Highland cow into the festive season, wearing a red and white Santa hat and a bow with a little bell at its neck. Below the cow, a list of house rules for Christmas runs down the plaque in red and black lettering, mixing bold capitals with a flowing script: give more than you get, be kind and of good cheer, sing carols, eat, drink and be merry, and remember Santa is always watching. Sprigs of pine, pine cones and pale snowflakes frame the words on a soft white background, and a natural-toned picket fence runs along the base. It measures 50cm tall, 20cm wide and 1.5cm deep.

Its narrow shape suits places where a wide sign will not fit: a hallway by the front door, the end of a dresser, a mantelpiece or a slim run of shelf beside the tree. The rules make a gentle, good-humoured reminder for the whole household through December, and the last line about Santa always watching is sure to raise a smile in the run-up to Christmas Eve. The Highland cow brings a warm, homely countryside feel that sits happily with fresh greenery, tartan throws and your other Christmas decorations. It makes a cheerful Christmas gift for anyone who loves a country look at home.

The cow and the picket fence are raised cut-out pieces that sit slightly proud of the plaque, giving the design a little depth. The illustration and lettering are crisp and easy to read, with red picking out each of the main rules. To keep it looking fresh, dust it with a soft dry cloth and keep it somewhere dry. For a cosy display, set it beside a small potted fir or a garland of pine and cones, and let the little cow in its Santa hat greet everyone who comes through the door.

Specification

Colour

White

Height

50cm

Width

20cm

Depth

1.5cm

Weight

0.668kg

Occasion

Christmas

Frequently Asked

How big is the Highland cow Christmas rules plaque?

It measures 50cm tall, 20cm wide and 1.5cm deep.
