harry-potter-ravenclaw-raven-3d-resin-candle-holder-gold
Harry Potter Ravenclaw Raven 3D Resin Candle Holder - Gold

Description

This gold resin candle holder takes the form of the Ravenclaw raven, wings raised and beak open, perched on a round base with a single fluted candle cup rising above its head. Every feather is picked out in fine relief, from the layered wings to the textured chest, and a beaded collar sits between the bird and the cup. A curling scroll on the front of the base reads RAVENCLAW, so the house is named in words as well as in form. It stands 20cm tall, 10cm wide and 8cm deep, a compact size that suits a narrow shelf as easily as a dining table.

We see it on a bookshelf, a mantelpiece or a desk in a study, where the warm gold catches the glow of a lit candle and the light of the room around it. It is a natural choice for a Ravenclaw corner of a bedroom, a reading nook or a games room, and it sits happily among well-loved books. Because it is freestanding on its own flat base, it needs no wall fixing and can move from room to room as you like. Unlit, it works as a sculpted ornament in its own right.

The holder is made from resin, also known as polystone, finished in gold across the bird, the cup and the base. To keep it looking its best, dust it with a soft dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners, which can dull a gold finish. As with any candle holder, stand it on a stable, level surface away from curtains and anything that could catch, and never leave a burning candle unattended. Pair it with a candle in deep blue or soft bronze for a look that suits the house, and it makes a lovely gift wrapped with a box of candles.

Specification

Material

Polystone

Colour

Gold

Height

20cm

Width

10cm

Depth

8cm

Weight

0.4kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the Ravenclaw raven candle holder?

It stands 20cm tall, 10cm wide and 8cm deep, so it fits comfortably on a shelf, a mantelpiece or a desk.

What is the candle holder made from?

It is made from resin, also known as polystone, with a gold finish over the raven, the candle cup and the round base.

Does it say Ravenclaw on it?

Yes, a scroll on the front of the base reads RAVENCLAW, beneath the raven with its wings raised and its beak open.

How many candles does it hold?

It holds one candle, in the fluted cup that rises above the raven's head on a beaded collar.

How do I look after the gold finish?

Dust it with a soft dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners, which can dull the gold finish over time.

Does it need fixing to a wall?

No, it is freestanding on its flat round base and sits on a shelf, table or mantelpiece with no fixings needed.
