harry-potter-quidditch-hanging-wall-banner-blue-and-gold
Harry Potter Quidditch Hanging Wall Banner - Blue & Gold

Description

This hanging wall banner sets out the rules of Quidditch at Hogwarts in shiny gold print on a deep blue ground. Under a scrolled Quidditch at Hogwarts heading, framed panels explain how the game works: two teams of seven players, three goal hoops, ten points for each goal and one hundred and fifty for catching the Snitch. Small drawings of a Bludger, the Quaffle and crossed broomsticks sit between the panels, and a line of print tells how the referee starts the game by releasing four balls. It measures 100cm tall, 38cm wide and 1cm deep, so it needs only a narrow strip of wall.

It is made to hang on a wall, so it suits a bedroom, a study, a games room or a reading corner where the wizarding world already has its place. Hung above a desk or a bookshelf, it gives the wall a tall, narrow point of interest, and its long shape fits neatly between a window and a door. The rules are set out in clear blocks, so it is a piece to stand and read rather than glance at, and the notes on the Quaffle, the Bludger and the Golden Snitch make it an easy talking point.

The banner hangs from a slim rod across its top on a long cord, and a gold tassel and a round gold medallion stamped with an H crest and the word Hogwarts hang from one end of the rod. A gold border runs around the edge, and the lower end comes to a point finished with a dark fringe. To keep it looking its best, dust it with a soft dry cloth or brush, and hang it from a single picture hook at the top of the cord. It makes a thoughtful gift, and once hung, it brings a little of the Quidditch pitch to any wall.

Specification

Colour

Blue & Gold

Finish

Shiny

Height

100cm

Width

38cm

Depth

1cm

Weight

0.12kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the Quidditch wall banner?

It measures 100cm tall, 38cm wide and 1cm deep.
